Veganz Group AG: Develey takes over exclusive distribution for Mililk® product range in food service
Ludwigsfelde (pta028/09.01.2025/14:00) - Veganz Group AG and Develey Feinkost GmbH have today signed a long-term agreement for the distribution of the innovative Mililk® product range in the food service sector. Develey will be the exclusive distributor for the food service and out-of-home market in Germany, including wholesale. Over the past decades, Develey Food Service has established an outstanding position in the out-of-home market with products and solutions for professionals and very close, long-term partnerships. Consumer spending in the out-of-home market in Germany totalled 84.5 billion euros in 2023(1). The market for milk alternatives in Germany in 2023 was already around 805.0 million euros in retail (2), with the out-of-home market accounting for around 52.8 million euros with annual growth of around 12%(3). In recent weeks, Veganz and Develey have adapted Mililk® products to the specific requirements of this market in terms of recipe, function, packaging and handling, making them even more attractive for a wide range of applications in kitchens, canteens, cafés, restaurants and offices. Mililk® Oat Barista in sheet form is a flexible, plant-based milk alternative made from organic wholemeal oats that can be prepared quickly as required and saves up to 90% in transport, storage and disposal costs compared to today's conventional products. Thanks to the low processing stage and organic and barista quality, as well as the customised, fresh preparation, it can also be used as a high-quality cooking cream and for all latte art variations. Mililk® Creamer Drops are new to the food service range and will be launched on the market from 4/2025 as a sustainable and innovative vegan coffee creamer alternative, especially for use in the transport catering sector. 'Our innovative Mililk® products were originally developed for the food service sector, where they are in high demand thanks to their flexible, simple application and significantly lower costs, and I am delighted that we have been able to gain a partner in Develey who has a perfect command of this business and whose long-standing customer relationships provide us with optimal conditions for the market launch of these sustainable innovations,' says Jan Bredack, founder and CEO of Veganz.
