Rosenbauer International AG: Rosenbauer Österreich opens new location in Achau

Rosenbauer Österreich (RBÖ) has today ceremonially opened its new service location with an equipment shop in Achau. With this opening, Rosenbauer is expanding its capacities in the greater Vienna area and improving accessibility and service for its customers in eastern Austria.

As the historically first sales and service company in the Rosenbauer Group, Rosenbauer Österreich has so far served its customers with a total of 70 employees from four locations, as well as from the group headquarters: the sales headquarters in Asten (Upper Austria) as the largest domestic service location, and the branches in Neidling (Lower Austria), Graz (Styria) and Telfs (Tyrol). These sales and service locations are known for their excellent workshop services. The new location in Achau significantly changes the network, as the service area from the Neidling production plant is relocating to Achau. The decisive factor for the choice of location was the desire to bring the range of equipment closer to customers and to further expand the after-sales area in eastern Austria with its high customer density – which the new shop in Achau now makes possible.

Specifics of the location

The location in Achau was chosen due to its location south of Vienna and its proximity to important transport hubs such as the motorway and the train station. The excellent accessibility from strategically important areas such as the industrial district but also the North Burgenland region are essential advantages. Customers from the south and southeast of Austria also benefit from the good connection. Even Slovakia is easily accessible, so that service organizations in neighboring countries can also be easily supported if no suitable workshop is available on site.

The leased property, which was previously used by an international construction machinery company, met the requirements of Rosenbauer Österreich in terms of size and was comprehensively modernized. It offers ample space for workshop operations, customer vehicles, and an integrated shop. Customers can bring their vehicles in for maintenance and purchase equipment on site at the same time, which saves time and significantly improves efficiency for fire departments.
