This development is subject to the positive completion of the fit and proper assessment required by the supervisory authorities and the election of Gottfried Haber to Erste Group's Supervisory Board by the Annual General Meeting 2025. This approach also ensures that Gottfried Haber complies with the "cooling-off" period stipulated by the supervisory authority.

Gottfried Haber is a university professor of economics and was most recently the vice governor of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB), Austria's central bank.
