Serviceware SE: Serviceware SE celebrates 5th anniversary of the AI Competence Centre in Darmstadt

Idstein (pta009/22.02.2024/09:00) - Idstein, 22 February 2024 Serviceware SE ("Serviceware", ISIN DE000A2G8X31) celebrates the 5th anniversary of its AI Competence Centre in Darmstadt in February 2024. Since its foundation in 2019, the AI Competence Centre has made a significant contribution to Serviceware's corporate success. Today, Serviceware is a leader in the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for service processes and financial planning and is consistently expanding AI in its ESM platform. AI is now a central factor in Serviceware's corporate strategy and is integrated throughout the modules of the Serviceware ESM platform. With the integration of ChatGPT into the Serviceware platform, Serviceware has given a further major boost to the use of AI, especially in customer service. As a result, service agents are massively relieved and service requests and processes are significantly expedited.

Serviceware cooperates at the AI Competence Centre closely with the Technische Universität (TU) Darmstadt, one of the leading universities in the field of AI. This collaboration has already resulted in numerous products that have been successfully integrated into Serviceware's ESM platform and help users to advance their digital initiatives. AI is now used across all platforms and supports companies in automating service processes, helping them to make informed decisions and reduce costs. By using Artificial Intelligence, companies can now achieve significant competitive advantages and significantly improve the customer experience.

Serviceware's early decision in favour of AI has given it a very good position on the market. The investments made in AI in recent years are already paying off today and will continue to do so in the coming years. The AI Competence Centre is also an important competitive advantage when it comes to recruiting specialists. In addition, Serviceware is a training partner for students of the Software & Digital Business programme at TU Darmstadt. Over the past 5 years, final year projects and theses have been successfully completed with a total of around 50 students. Some of the former students are now working in various positions at the AI Competence Centre.

With the AI Competence Centre, Serviceware is also part of "KompAKI", a Competence Centre for Work and Artificial Intelligence (AI) funded by the Federal German Ministry of Education and Research. One of the aims of the Centre is to conduct application-oriented research into the use of AI in the world of work and to evaluate specific AI measures in practice.

Dirk K. Martin, CEO at Serviceware: "We are proud of this further milestone in our company's history. AI is now an important part of the Serviceware strategy and firmly anchored in the DNA of Serviceware. We are consistently expanding the use of AI in the ESM modules and continue to see considerable potential for the use of AI in many areas. As a game changer in service processes, the importance of AI will continue to grow in the coming years. We recognised this trend early on and are increasingly benefiting from our investments in AI in recent years."

Prof Dr Peter Buxmann, Chair of the Software & Digital Business Group TU Darmstadt: "The past year has shown us in particular the possibilities offered by Artificial Intelligence and given us a glimpse of what is yet to come. It is all the more remarkable that Serviceware recognised the potential of AI at a very early stage and has been working closely with TU Darmstadt in this area for five years now. I am delighted that this collaboration is the basis for the successful Serviceware AI solutions that Serviceware customers can already use today to significantly improve their own service offering and make it more efficient."
