SLM Solutions Group AG: Changes in the Supervisory Board of SLM Solutions Group AG

Lübeck, Germany (pta044/20.02.2023/17:20) - February 20, 2023 . Following the closing of Nikon AM.AG's takeover offer for SLM Solutions Group AG, Nicole Englisch, Magnus René and Hans-Joachim Ihde have resigned from their supervisory board mandates. With effect immediately following the effectiveness of their resignation, the regional court in Lübeck has appointed Hamid Zarringhalam, Yuichi Shibazaki, Masahiro Horie and Johann Georg Jetter to new members of the supervisory board thereby increasing the number of its members again to the statutory number of six. The members of the Supervisory Board elected Hamid Zarringhalam as new chairman of the supervisory board and Thomas Schweppe as new vice chairman of the supervisory board.

Hamid Zarringhalam is Corporate Vice President of Nikon Corporation and CEO of Nikon Ventures Corporation. Yuichi Shibazaki is Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Nikon Corporation. Masahiro Horie is Director and President of Nikon Europe B.V. and Johann Georg Jetter is Managing Director of 4Jet Holding GmbH.

Johann Georg Jetter as well as existing members of the supervisory board Kevin Czinger and Thomas Schweppe are independent by the definition of the German Corporate Governance Codex.
