The internationally renowned Swiss light artist, Gerry Hofstetter, and the virtual ambassador for planet Earth, Leya Love, join forces in a world premiere: The Arctica Expedition "LoveYourPlanet". The nature art expedition will highlight the fragility of our Earth with awe-inspiring light art projections on Arctic icebergs. Its nightly illuminated icebergs call for global attention to love and appreciate our planet by respecting nature in this region, as everywhere else in the world.

The light art Arctica Expedition spans over seven days and is led by Gerry Hofstetter. He will be accompanied by avatar Leya Love, leader of the # WorldAwarenessMovement with several hundred thousand followers on Instagram and having earned hundreds of millions of impressions. In this campaign, Gerry and Leya will reimagine nature through light art projections. Together, the avatar and light artist will illuminate icebergs with different themes, raising awareness for a vulnerable part of nature that needs our love and protection.

Working with light art projections, the renowned and award-winning light artist, Gerry Hofstetter, reminds us alongside Leya Love that the rainforests, the Arctic, and the Antarctic are the lungs and heart of the Earth. Hofstetter travels the world to illuminate world-famous monuments and natural sites. The campaign "LoveYourPlanet" is the next initiative to bring more awareness to a landscape that is rapidly diminishing and changing. An awe-inspiring world that deserves our protection. The light art campaign consists of six specific themes, documenting the life that exists in the Arctic from the inhabitants and culture to its animals and climate. The illuminating projections will also shed light on other endangered parts of the planet such as the rainforests and oceans. With the support of global publications, these thought-provoking images mesmerizing the beauty of planet Earth will be called to our attention before it's too late.

The live Arctic expedition offsets its CO2 emissions and includes a team of 15 people under the lead of Gerry Hofstetter. The expedition is part of a multimedia project merging light art, nature, avatar, AI, and doing good for the planet which will be documented by an international film for a cinema movie in 2022. The breathtaking light projections of life and animals can be followed on Keystone and Instagram as the story unfolds daily until October 13, 2021.
