The artist Anja Lienhard enriches the SWISSARTEXPO 2020 with her exceptional abstract art

Zurich (ptp028/31.07.2020/12:00) - Anja Lienhard, also known under her artist name Toshi , will present a selection of her original artworks in the Zurich Main Station Hall as part of SWISSARTEXPO from 20 to 24 August 2020. Her newly published art catalogue will also be available to visitors. The SWISSARTEXPO is an art festival that offers talented and upcoming artists the opportunity to present their works in one of the most visited halls in Europe.

Anja Lienhard lives and works in the Swiss art metropolis of Zurich, where she pursues her career as an artist in search of happiness and creative fulfillment. Driven by the thought that life must have more to offer than what she had already experienced, Lienhard found her way to art and made the canvas her new home. There she met no social expectations to which she had to adapt and by which she felt restricted. Art gave her space to breathe freely and express her emotions in a previously unknown way. The artist puts it into words as follows:

"The canvas is my piece of freedom, a place to breathe and a home for all my emotions. I want to move people, because every work of art is a part of me!"

Like her inner self, Anja Lienhard's works of art are multifaceted, genuine, independent and without rules. She works predominantly with acrylic paints on canvas and creates profound and abstract works, mostly without a definable motive, which lead the viewers on a journey into their own emotional world. Lienhard experiments with various techniques, colour tones and combinations, sometimes applied spongy, sometimes with a more striking spatula technique, telling her own story. For Lienhard, a constant companion in her artistic work is music, which strongly influences and guides her creations. The same applies to the exclusive paintings which she will exhibit in their original form at the SWISSARTEXPO 2020.

Her new artist catalogue will also be available on site to give visitors an even deeper insight into her creative work. The exhibition will take place from 20 to 24 August 2020 in the SBB Event Hall at Zurich Main Station.
