Wild Bunch deploys its strategy in production and creates a company in Italy

Following its recent financial restructuring, which has enabled it to consolidate its equity capital and strengthen its financial resources, the Wild Bunch group continues to deploy its production strategy by creating BIM Production in Italy.

This company is shaped in partnership with Riccardo Russo who serves as CEO and Managing Director and reports to Antonio Medici, President of BIM Production and COO of BIM Distribution. Drawing on Riccardo Russo's extensive experience and BIM's know-how, heritage and network, the new company will produce Italian TV programs and films, responding to the growing demand from local players and electronic distribution platforms.

BIM Production complements the Group's existing production facilities with Senator Film Produktion, Wild Bunch SA, Wild Bunch TV and Vertigo Films. Thus, Wild Bunch is the only independent group to be directly active in distribution and production in Germany, France, Spain and Italy.

The dual development of production activities and audiovisual offer is at the heart of Wild Bunch's strategy, and a major focus of its development.

Riccardo Russo has been previously in charge of Leone Film Group's international TV productions, of International co-productions at LUX (where he produced the series MEDICI: MASTERS OF FLORENCE, distributed by Wild Bunch TV) and of television channels at Fox International Channels Italia including the History Channel, Cult, Fx and Fox Retro.

BIM, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wild Bunch, is an Italian all-media film distribution company with a catalogue of over 300 films.
